“Gong Perdamaian Dunia” (GPD) atau “World Peace Gong” merupakan satu-satunya “Sarana Persaudaraan dan Pemersatu Umat Manusia” di seluruh Planet Bumi. Diciptakan pasca musibah “Bom Bali-1” akhir tahun 2002 oleh Presiden Komite Perdamaian Dunia, Djuyoto Suntani, bersama Gde Sumarjaya Linggih (anggota DPR RI) didukung tokoh nasional Edi Darnadi, serta Lieus Sungkharisma. GPD dibunyikan pertama kali Presiden dan Wakil Presiden RI di Bali pada 31 Desember 2002 tepat pukul 00.00 WITA di hadapan seluruh tokoh bangsa, untuk mencanangkan “Tahun 2003 sebagai Tahun Perdamaian Indonesia”.
